[RNG says we're here at the Science Lab! Zelgadis has his hood pulled up as if it will somehow make him less visible as he paws around inside cabinets, pulling out suspicious-looking vials of mystery-liquids and holding them up to the light very carefully while pinching them between his stone fingers.]
[oh this is the best place she could end up, actually.
she glances over her shoulder at him from where she's rummaging, and then - without any ado or fanfare, wanders over to squint at the mysterious liquid.]
[well this is short and to the point: catch gideon climbing over the counter in the fairway to just straight up try to steal one of the ugly knock off plushies. she is committing crimes, come join her.]
[here is gideon, in the clothing store on the new island! she has kicked a mannequin over to the ground. she's also trying on jackets, kind of just absently, expression furrowed, like she's thinking very hard.
[it is later in the day! and the home biome seems to be occupied.
the best way to describe this place is that it's - well, listen, it's on pluto. but it's grey, and it's cold, and the gravity is different, just a little. he'll find himself in a series of catacombs, with little niches that have a lot of skeletons in them, connected to generators. like a skyrim dungeon, but with sci-fi elements like LED lights. the catacombs lead all the way down to a series of cells, which are small and only contain a bed, bathroom, and a hook on the wall for robes.
past all of that is a horribly rattling and terrifying lift. this will take him to a church.
the church is a long narrow hall on the very bottom level. lit by gas-discharged lights and luminescent powders, it is a dark, dusty and silent place, with enough pews to seat a thousand. it's in bad shape, but less than the rest of the place.
inside is gideon, staring up the stained glass. it's shattered and barely hanging on. oh, also, she's wearing this.]
[Neat. Honestly, if Zel sees a creepy catacomb-church combo, he can't help but check it out. He walks on in, looking around as he comes up beside her. And he's just... looking at the contrast between Gideon and everything else here.]
[she startles slightly, and glances over her shoulder at him.
zel might notice there's a bone hand with a rocket ship outfit on the ground a bit away, too. it is wrestling with the rocket ship like it's trying to get it off.]
Nah, we've got nothing this slick on the Ninth. I just like it. [...] Uh, welcome to the Ninth, I guess.
[Yeah, he's just sitting on a bench somewhere, staring into space. He looks a little surprised when she sits down next to him, but it might be because he was genuinely so out of it that he didn't see her coming.]

Have our clothing options improved any, do you think?
[asks zelgadis, who has never been seen wearing anything other than this white garb and cloak ever since he got it back.]
no subject
Eh. I don't know, what do you think? [she holds this up.]

... I wouldn't know... It's definitely not my kind of style.

... That would explain all of the skeletons.
[That's like, the number one thing he would have expected from the Ninth.]
